2023 Reserve Fumé Blanc

Summary: Rows 28 - 29 were selected early in the growing season as displaying ideal qualities for producing a complex and intriguing Fumé Blanc. The Sauvignon Blanc was picked at optimal ripeness, crushed and left in contact with its skins to increase complexity. Wild fermentation in seasoned French oak and matured for 9 months.

Colour: Straw with a green hue.

Nose: A wonderfully complex nose of fresh citrus and tropical notes. Passionfruit and green apple notes balanced with subtle herbal elements.

Palate: Crisp acidity upon entry, complementing the bright and lively fruit flavours. Savoury complexity and minerality with citrus notes. The wine displays a captivating balance between the fruit-driven elements and a subtle, integrated oak influence, which imparts a delicate creaminess to the texture.
