2023 Reserve Chardonnay

Summary: The chardonnay was handpicked in the cool of the morning on the 1st of March. Whole bunch pressed and wild fermented in a combination of new and seasoned French oak. Matured on lees for 9 months with light occasional stirring.

Colour: Pale straw with a golden hue.

Nose: White flowers and fresh fruits of nectarines and white peach. Hints of Meyer lemon peel and custard apple.

Palate: A balanced and supple palate of succulent sliced pear and apple with lifted citrus acidity. French oak adds complexity of baking spices and vanilla. Finished with vibrant acidity.
